A lot of people are upset because they FEEL that they are in a rat race… I kept wondering as to why people FEEL so.
I suspect they feel so because there are 2 types of Races, a race for CREATION & a race for CONSUMPTION.
The Consumption race is a mindless race for self-achievement & selfish pursuits, where the central benefactor is you.
The Creation race is a mindful race & is a race for others, for contribution, where the central benefactor is others.
The FEELING of a rat race comes quite often & consistently to those who are in the Consumption race.
One doesn’t realize that no amount of Consumption can make one happy… The next holiday or car or home is not going to make you happy… I am in no way underestimating the fun, pleasure & need for that pursuit… But one should always know, which is the right race for life Maximization, Race For CONSUMPTION or Race For CREATION.
Race for CREATION is fulfilling…Race for Creation makes this world a better place… Race for Creation leaves something of value, years after we are gone.
